Newark’s Contaminated Water

Saddened and Shocked.

That’s the most accurate way to describe the video I was watching.

In the video a little boy, 5 year old Bryce Thomas was playing with a water hose. Water is spurting out via the sprinkler cap. He was so excited that his back was to the camera. Bryce didn’t seem to have a care in the world, and he perhaps looked like a little fireman fighting a blaze.

But this is just a kid playing with the water.

A scene that plays out daily anywhere in the world.

In better days, Bryce Thomas was allowed to play with the water in Newark New Jersey. (like in the video) But that was before he tested positive for lead.

Earlier this year *LEAD* measured a *staggering* 76.2 parts per billion in his mother’s home. Her name is Shakima Thomas and this water contamination situation in Newark is a call to action. Thomas is out on the front line making sure her voice is heard.

But this was no normal day. Mostly everyone walking around near Newark Penn Station was dressed up in their best…
